About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in the Faculty of Computer Science at the Free University of Bolzano and in the Mobile and Social Computing Lab at Fondazione Bruno Kessler. Also, I am a researcher at Pulse.io. Previously, I have been a Visitor Researcher at  MIT Connection Science and a Visiting Ph.D. Student at CSIC-IFISC.

I am broadly interested in computational sustainability and machine learning methods to predict and generate human mobility. Human mobility is highly connected with multiple modern challenges such as migration, pollution, the spreading of diseases, and many others. Currently, I am working on creating geographically transferable deep learning models for human mobility

I was a research intern at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Telefonica Research where I worked with Enrique Frias-Martinez and Andra Lutu. I obtained my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Trento.
